Scotty’s Contracting & Stone is Kentucky’s leading producer of asphalt, operating 14 hot-mix plants strategically located across the state to fulfill our project needs and provide quality materials to our customers.
Asphalt production has been part of our business since our earliest days as a contractor, beginning in 1975 with the purchase of our first asphalt plant in Bowling Green, KY. Since then we’ve expanded our plant operations to include a total of 14 state-of-the-art asphalt facilities operating year round to supply Scotty’s paving teams and serve our customers.
Our production teams specialize in producing hot-mix asphalt for roadway infrastructure projects, in addition to specialty mixes for airports, racetracks, and other specifically regulated projects. Individually, our facilities are capable of producing up to 500 tons per hour, as well as small batches for lower volume needs.
