Scotty’s Contracting & Stone has set a new all-time record for asphalt production in a single month! Our incredible asphalt plant teams produced just shy of 250,000 tons of asphalt, setting a new record within our company.
Our production schedule this month was incredibly demanding, and our asphalt plant teams rose to the challenge by producing nearly a quarter of a million tons of asphalt. That’s roughly 8,333 tons per day, or 350 tons per hour working non-stop for a month. Our dedicated team of plant employees put in the hours, including many overnight shifts, to serve our customers’ needs. This is truly an impressive accomplishment for our team, and we are so thankful to have the best of the best working hard every day.
